Facilitation Groups
Many problems are faced while in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Problems with medication, resentment of others, family issues. The list is endless. In the literature of Narcotics & Alcoholics Anonymous it is said that:
"The Power of one addict/alcoholic helping another is without parallel"
Who better to ask for help and who better to relate to (an issue) than someone who has recently suffered and come through a similar issue.
This is just what the Facilitation Group is based on. Twice a week clients are invited to share issues within a safe and confidential group with other clients and staff facilitators.
Clients then feed back giving options of how to tackle the issue raised. Clients report that these groups are of great benefit to their recovery.
