Referrals and Criteria

There are two ways that a person can access our day programme:

• You can phone us and make an appointment for an initial assessment.
• Or you can drop into our Friday café between 1pm – 3pm

Before prospective clients are able to start on the Structured Day Care program they must complete certain criteria. This gives people a chance to prove that they are willing to put effort, time and energy into their recovery. They must attend at least three 12-Step meetings a week and this gives them a chance to become integrated into a fellowship of people in recovery.

To attend Caleb full time prospective clients must:

• Attend 2 Friday cafes back to back
• Attend at least 3 Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, between the two back to back Friday Cafes

Once the criteria has been achieved you will be asked to attend an induction.

It is important to note that client's must continue to attend at least three 12-Step meetings every week for the duration of their time on Caleb's day care.

If you have a client, friend or family member with a substance misuse problem and you think Caleb could help then we invite you to attend with them for their first Friday Café.
